Pupils from Tirlebrook School had a warm welcome when they visited Barton Court last week.
The children took items donated for their harvest festival to give to the elderly residents and then entertained them with harvest songs.
Headteacher Pete Goodger said: “It was wonderful. Everyone really enjoyed it and the residents joined in the singing with the children.”
Janet Robinson, manager of Barton Court, said residents had enjoyed the visit last Thursday: “It was wonderful, the children come every year and the residents always look forward to it.
“They love getting their goodie boxes at the end of the afternoon.”
