A TEWKESBURY man was today bailed to await trial at Gloucester Crown Court after he denied five child sex charges.

Paul Trigg, aged 53, Gould Drive, was told by Judge Martin Picton that his trial, lasting 4-5 days, would begin on March 23 next year.

Mr Trigg has pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault and two of gross indecency with a girl under the age of 14 between May 1996 and June 1997 and then between 1999 and 2002.

He was represented at court today by Miss Virginia Cornwell.
